As I type I am listening to your most fine disk, Mr. Zalasta. Some very excellent, thoughtful songs. My favorites are Wake Up In New York, Last Seen Oct. 9 and of course the Cure. I'll need to run thru this comp. a few more times cuz every song is new to me. Thanks!

I have had some serious trouble w/ my burner, but I'll give it another go today. With a bit of luck I'll be mailing out comp disks to you and the other folks on Monday.

I am glad you like it!!! Thanks for the nice comments. I have 3 other older mixes ready to send out - but i'm working on a new one that I think is turning out pretty good. :-)

Zalaster, Tigre, et al, Watcha you mail, eh? I sent 'em today. The music is all over the place. With a little luck you will find some of it enjoyable.

Important note: The format is MP3 on 210MB mini disc. I hope this is compatible with your gear. If not just microwave the little bastard!

OK, I just finished going through Disparate Musics. Disparate indeed! Nice choices and variety though. Henry Mancini, Elton John, Nerves, Plimsouls, Sponge, Trash Can Sinatras - nice [8D]

Ok Marv, I hope you were feeling the love I sent out to you today!
I got your newest Marvy Dance Mix. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I really loved how you mixed into Don't go. Great to hear so many girl voices on the cd. Naked Eye by Luscious Jackson is an AWESOME song. (their whole cd is great)
Thanks again Marv!!! [:D]

Marie, you're just awesome [:I]

Yeah, the theme of this disc was female vocalists hence the pink typography. The only guys in there are the Pet Shop Boys because no dance compilation is complete without the Boys [;)] Besides, I heard Neil say in an interview that as he gets older, his voice gets higher. So it kind of fits in to the female vocalist theme anyway [:D]

I was afraid of that. Sorry man. I assume the problem is the disk size rather than the MP3 format. I have an adapter ring I can send you, if I can find it.

Marv, did you get to see the Pet Shop Boys perform on Live 8?
Neil Tennant's voice is really unbelievable.

No! It was in Russia. How'd you get to see it? I love Neil's voice.

Marv, there was a link on the outpost that I used to see every performance. I can't find it now. I will keep looking and if I come across it, I'll send it to you. [:)]

[/quote] Thanks, I'll give it a shot. I don't know if MP3's work for me at though, I've had trouble in the past.
