Should I pay $25 to see Madness?

Well Madness is coming to town http://www.bimbos365club.com/bands.html

$25 seems a little stiff granted G OF 4 was the same price plus surcharge earlyer in the year and I saw that show too. hmmmm

So I have decided to let this board make the dicision for me.

Should I go and pay $25 or should I stay home and just play a couple of Madness CDs.

Granted I have not seen Madness in 22 years since the Day on the Green show in Sept of 83.

What shall I do.

Depends on a few things:

1.) You haven't seem them in 22 years (A reason to go!)

2.) How good are your seats? (A reason to go, or not depending)

3.) Are you mad??? (A reason not to go.) Of course you should go!!!!! 25 bucks is the cost of a Starbucks latte and a biscuit these days. Movie tickets for 2 people are nearly 20 bucks nowadays. 25 bucks will only buy you two drops of gasoline lately. Go, go, go.

i saw madness on their first solo tour of the uk, support was "clive langer and the boxes"(he went on to be a producer), and "the go-gos"...
a room full of skinheads shouting at the go-gos to remove items of underwear... i thought they were quite good...

If not too inconvenient, I'd go. Another point I'd probably consider: is it all (or at least most) of the original members? If not, I'd be less likely to go. (I say this in light of seeing what Mike Score was passing off as a Flock of Seagulls on 'Hit me baby' this summer).

I'd do it. I paid 22.50 plus 4.25 surcharge to see them back in 1999 to see them. One of the greatest shows I ever saw.

To make a grand comparison, The Rolling Stones are charging 350 dollars per decent seat. That's 14 times the amount than for an act that could be more entertaining [:D]

$25 is about the going rate for a lot of these bands that are on the "retro-tours." I guess it all depends on how much you liked them the first time around.
