Do You Trust Your Partner?

Postby MARV » Thu Apr 20, 2006 4:57 am

Let's say you came upon a million dollars - CASH. But you had to go away for a week on a business trip. You give the money to your partner for safe keeping until your return. Do you truly, honestly and with all your heart believe that they'd still be there with all the money when you come back?

Any other woman I have ever been with, other than my wife, the answer is NO. That's why I'm married.

Marv - YOU could give my wife the million dollars and she would still be there when you came back.

If you strictly interpret the phrase "all the money", then no. She'd make a few purchases with it while I was away as would I if the question were reversed. I answered yes to the spirit of the question, though.

I'm the other NO answer. She would still be there, but not all the money. My wife is an accountant and very tricky with the money. If I won millions, I would buy my mother in law an island. Yes an island. But it would be on the other side of the world and it would have no phones. Plus, I would pay pirates to patrol the shore to make sure she never leaves. Oh, and the only other living things on the island would be a tribe of rabid monkies. Or maybe canabals. Oh to dream!!! What a wonderful dream!
