Just heard the Talking Heads on Live365 and still don't understand their appeal. I've tried to like them for the last 20+ years, and aside from "Once In A Lifetime" and "Swamp", I really don't see what everyone else sees in this band.

Depeche Mode
The Smiths
Cure
Morrisey
A-ha
Pet Shop Boys
Simple Minds
Erasure
Joy Division

..and many more that I've forgotten.

i don't care about how important they were, how they influenced everyone and everybody, how their "high schooler kids on dope" image was ironic and post modern before irony even existed, how they wrote perfect 3 chord punk pop tunes, etc. e

Thanks for reminding mw bruiser, I'm also not keen on Gary Numan, the only track that appeals to me is 'Change Your Mind' as that was because Bill Sharpe of Shakatak wrote the music.
