Jimbo-like in the ability to cut-and-run when confronted with facts. Cool. I like having a nemesis.

Whoah! I've read plenty of the Jimbo/fill-in-the-blank debates and he never cut and ran. Jimbo would just get hung up on semantics ("You still have'nt defined what you mean by...") and his opposition would eventually freak out.[8D]
9 times out of ten the debates would disintegrate into a battle of the links..
"Check out

"Oh yeah! Take this!

Sorry, but on more than one occasion, when Jimbo couldn't frame the argument the way he wanted, he would stop arguing his point, call me "un-American" or a "Christian-hater" and try to make the argument about my character. I'd be happy to do some digging if you want the links.
I don't know if anyone noticed but the majority of my arguments with Jimbo were based on his "holier-than-thou", or more appropriately, "more American than thou" moments of condescension where those of us that weren't neo-cons were somehow "un-American". I would call him on it, he'd start throwing around links from his neo-con sites, I wouldn't back down. Jimbo and Hutter thrive on the Limbaugh/O'Reilly type of argument where rather than acknowledge factual errors on their part, they choose to take the road of character framing when their errors are pointed out. So far, Hutter has labeled me, Stella, Swampy, 2Nu, MikeP, and a couple of folks I can't recall as "liberals" or "leftists", a group he has framed as welcoming the destruction of the world. Hutter's decided I'm a Marxist, remarkably similar to how Jimbo would label me. Rather than basing his argument on fact, an argument he knows he would lose, he goes the Springer route. He's doing the internet equivalent of "talk to the hand" or sticking his fingers in his ears and talking loud to drown me out. My three-year old does this occasionally, so I can deal. I'm giving him a time out, then I'll march down and spank his insolent ass so the lesson really sinks in.
