Recommend a synthpop group

Discuss hard-to-find or out-of-print New Wave and '80s Alternative, and share a few songs along the way.
NOTE: requesting songs that are entirely unrelated to the genres discussed here or easily found on CD is strongly discouraged and posts will be enforced as needed.

The one following, is not exactly a synthpop track, but resembles.
It is Fanoy Free by FLUE. Listen to it and let me know whether you liked it. Moreover, does anyone of you have VISTA from them?

D.I.A. was U.C. Schlitz (vocals), W.F. Schlitz (synths & songwriting), Michael Adams (synths, sounds & effects) & Thomas Haugh (drums & perc.). U.C. Schlitz also composed soundtracks and did some acting.

<br>This is the Dutch synthpop band (The) Mo.

They released three albums, and had some top 40 hits in the Netherlands and Germany.
[/quote]Do you have any additional info about these guys? Name of LP, year released, any album art perhaps? Track # on the LP? It's a pretty good song.

Trying to Google Mo - Cheese isn't getting me anywhere.

Thanks all so much.
I will try those band by and by. As a reward I'll post Ice the Falling Rain's - Life's illusion (from the funeralforafriend website).
If anyone has the B-Side of this track feel free to post it here[:D].
But only if it is any good.
Thx again, Plastik

Why did you have to repost the link? It doesn't seem to have changed..so? I'm just asking because you've done that before and I'd like to know if I do anything wrong posting the links.
Thx, Plastik

Click on the link you posted and you'll see why I reposted it, with one change. For some reason unknown to me, the yousendit links are missing the ? between the php and action, making it inactive.

Perfect. I especially liked
Rational Youth (and bought the CD right away),
the Leather Strip was awesome (never heard of them before),
Soviet sound great and
Twilight Ritual is also worth havin a closer look at.
Mo was not my cup of tea, though, and I'm still not sure about D.I.A.
Anyway, my interest is aroused.
Thx to all of you, Plastik44

Hi Plastik
Leaether Strip usually make pretty noisy Industrial. The track "Dreaming" was published on a CD called "Getting Away With Murder", a compilation of their early work, including - except of dreaming - another great track, "Never trust anyone at the Carnival". If you're interested in it, mail me because I think the CD's out of print by now..

Thx for the warning. If the other track is great I'd like to hear that, too. As for the noise, I'd gladly skip that and concentrate on enjoyable things.

Ok, let's forget about them now[:D]. I've just checked Iris - Disconnect on Amazon but they want 17 Euros for that...I guess I'll wait for a better offer. Is everything on the Soviet album as good as Lonely days?
