Comateens

Another band needed some CD's!! I have a Best Of from France, and have converted all of their LP's to CD-R, including extended mixes, but why aren't these on CD??? Why is it we get 3-5 re-releases of stuff like Bad Brains, Bad Religion, even lots of obscure punk on CD, tons of remasters, but yet The Comateens are left alone??? Tragic. I know, they won't make someone enough money to release them, or some other detail that prevents this, but it is a shame. There are some mighty obsucre 80s things on CD, so it seems only logical this band would get released also.

I could not agree more, Grunch. It's high time that the Comateens were resurrected from the grave.

Justin,

I have "Ghosts" on vinyl. I rip it to mp3 for you. They are on my "Lost Bands" list. Where should I send it?

I have the Best of CD, and have converted all their LP's and 12" extended mixes to CD-R at least, but still want legit CD releases.

They were fantastic. I have 'Pictures On A String' and 'Deal With It' as well as the 'Ghosts' EP that features the aformentioned Munsters theme cover(which is also on a Halloween version of the Just Can't Get Enough new wave series). Supposedly there's a

The "Late Mistake" is played quite often on 94.3 Long Island New York by Malibu Sue. She has an 80's request show at noon and she plays it alot. If you are from Long Island listen to her show. Once in awhile she will play a long lost new wave classic.
