I don't know, The Lover Speaks*, and I'm not familiar with either but the mp3 board is the goto place for that request.

Mabuhay!

Just go to the "Obscure80's/MFV, CD-R's & MP3 trading" section. Lots of generous people there.

But don't hold your breath on the Colors' songs. Don't think anyone in this board can help with that Italo-Disco band.

I know Annie Lennox had a rendition of "No More I Love You's". I would like to say she was the original singer of it as I don't remember hearing any other renditions of it. You can find it on her Medusa CD... which also has a remake of The Blue Nile's song Downtown Lights. You will remember The Blue Nile get a lot of airtime on XB102 for their song "Stay"... which was also remade by Grace Pool. Having said all this, it looks like Medusa is a compilation of Annies cover songs... so there *may* in fact be another rendition of "No More I Love You's" out there by some NW group.

I am afraid I am not familiar with "Nevermind" by the Colors. I do like Smiles and Jokes though by White China. Let me see what I can dig up about them and that song. As to that Robert Smith-like song, if you have any more hints, I can have a go at it. Can you hum a few bars perhaps. [:D]

The original version of "No More 'I Love You's'" was the Lover Speaks. CD pops up from time to time.

I'm not sure what Robert Smith-sound-alike you are refering to, but check out the band the Essence -- many people confused them with the Cure.

FYI: It just so happens I recently ripped that 1986 self titled CD and have it in my collection. Here's a link to the thread where that and another fairly well known track can be found. [;)]
