J.J. Jackson was the coolest, but I liked Nina Blackwood because she was so hip and pretty.

Martha Quinn annoyed the hell out of me. I can't believe she snagged Stiv Bators.

MTV doesn't even show videos anymore.

Best: JJ Jackson, the only "credible" VJ (MTV's words, not mine)
Worst: That skinny chick with glasses... what was her name, Kennedy?

I met Martha Quinn once in the late 80's. A friend of mine was sharing a house with her in L.A. (the valley) after she had left MTV. She was trying to be an actress. I was visiting another L.A. friend of mine and we all went to Gazzari's on Sunset to s

Best (of the originals) - Nina Blackwood and JJ Jackson.
Worst (of the originals) - Alan Hunter and Mark Goodman.

I also hated 120 Minutes vee-jay Dave Kendall. When he first replaced Kevin Seal he would only be filmed in near darkness until he saved

I'm afraid you all have it wrong. The absolute WORST VJ in MTV history has GOT to be that Jesse Camp fella. I realize he was long after MTV was relevant, but THAT guy made Kennedy look like Lester Bangs.

JJ Jackson passed away earlier this year. He was

Yeah, Mark Hunter was the one I couldn't think of. Hated him. A year or two ago he was co-host of some cable health program. I was like "Isn't there someone more qualified than an MTV has-been/also-ran for a health program?"
