My fave ideas are to either do Obscure 80s stuff, mix obscure 80s with later stuff that an 80s fan would like or just do post 80s stuff that you think a new waver would like.

I'm kind of the opinion that there are two rules for Mix Tapes...

Rule number one... There are no rules.
And rule number two... There are no rules.

Good music is good music no matter what label has been put on it...

O.K.
Spoilt Victorian Child convinced me.
I was on the fence about this sort of thing since technology allows us to "share" things without having to put them on a disc and send them in the mail. But this is more about sharing things amongst this gr

buffalo,
i'm at wankeab(AT)earthlink.net. Thanks for the heads up! --[:)-- I'll trade you in return. Let me know if you have particular genre interests?

To anyone else: I can put together a pretty cool CD of all sorts of stuff that's fairly obscure.

Here's my prospective mix and it won't necessarily be in this order. E-mail me at kitbovett@yahoo.com if interested in doing an exchange:

1) The Ocean Blue - Denmark (Dreamy pop with a plodding electronic rhythm)

2) Fine China - Labor Saving Device
