Any Fans of Simply Red Out There?

I know <a href="http://www.simplyred.co.uk/musicians/musicians.html" target="blank">they</a> went mainstream with 'Men And Women' & 'A New Flame'
However, I really enjoyed their two mid 80's club version tracks 'Money's Too Tight To Mention' & 'Come To My Aid'
I'll agree they are definitely an R&B act for the most part.[8)]

I thought they were ok when they were on the radio. I never bought any of their stuff nor would I be interested in seeing them live.

I met Mick Hucknall when I worked at Tower Records on Broadway & West 4th in Manhattan. He was real stuck up, arrogant, all of that.....I thought Life was a good album though.

Oh god no.They surely weren't New Wave the songs that I heard by them.And way too top 40 and commercial to my liking.They had more of a white soul sound to them if anything.I would never call them New Wave ever.Surely you wouldn't call "If You Don't Know
