New wave hub -- A great way for us to share music!

Postby Natephish » Wed Oct 27, 2004 3:54 pm

There was a topic about this (originally by disintegration) on the request board, but it's now long and boring so I've decided to make a new one.

Disintegration (a.k.a. Dan) and myself have started a New Wave hub. It's basically like a mini-P2P (or mini-Soulseek, mini-Kazaa, etc. (for you less literate users)). You join and choose which files you want to share, along with everyone else that joins the hub. You can then look through the shared files and download any you want. And others can do the same to you.

A few NWO users have joined and are sharing, we'd just like to get many more of you to join as well. This could be a great way to get new and obscure music that you thought you'd never find!

Dan sent out an e-mail to a group of you that posted in the old topic, with directions for joining. If you didn't get an e-mail from him, just post your e-mail address here and one of the two of us will e-mail you with directions on how to join.

It really is painless and simple, so please do consider joining! Thanks. - Nate

I have joined the new wave hub. More people need to do this. It is so easy to do and could be the greatest way for all of us to share the music we love. I have plenty of new wave music to share and have downloaded some classic 80's music already. The o

Tenpole, egg-roger: you were both contacted and signed up.

Though, egg-roger... I sent you the tutorial once before in my first round of signups from the other thread. Let me know if you don't get it again this time around.

It was easy to get started, and I've downloaded quite a few tracks already, and posted more CD's and LP CD-R's almost each day since. The more of us participating, the greater the music pool for each of us to draw from and share.

I am not shy about off

Disintegration - Thanxalot! I've set up the program, changed password, etc. But when I doubleclick on a username to get their list, it bounces between"connecting . . ." and "connection timed out". Please advise.
