Hey guys, my old lady stuff is all real. All the guys at work get the double lock job at least once a week and the your late every day. It drives me crazy because there is no way to explain to them what they are doing. You have some hope but when you hear the second click you know you will be there for a long time.
Another classic is the old you never rang my bell trick. You stand there ringing and ringing and ringing. You can here wheel of fortune or the andy griffith show on the tv at ear splitting levels. Finally you bang really hard on the door. then they lower the tv and answer the door. Where you here long? Ah, yeah. Well you need to ring my bell. I was ringing for 10 minutes lady. No you didn't. I would have heard it. Your tv was very loud. No its not. It was. No it wasn't. Next time ring the bell louder. WHAT!? A bell cant go louder, its a door bell. At the end, they just say that I hardly touched the bell and its my fault. Its not their fault and they have perfect hearing right?

(one day I'll write about when I walked in on the 80 year old man trying to have sex with the 300 pound woman in a wheel chair)

Are things dumbass things of any use at all? Seems to me they only teach some kids how to feed the egos of the jackass kids who do the bullying by submitting to them.

What's more, I love the forced smiles and niceness of the teachers/priciple/vice principle when I ask some pointed questions on why my daughter is repeatedly being beaten on by a group of other girls. As some of you know, I have a certain way of presenting my opinion here, and apparently it translates quite nicely into spoken form.

The answer "Mr. eight6, they're only kids and are still learning proper behavior" sucks giant moose cock on many levels. (The royalty cheque is in the mail Philly)

86, I would pay money to see you have it out with your kids principal. It would be like when Uncle Buck went to see his niece Mazie's principle.

I agree with you about the anti bully crap. My son knows the wrath of his dad that would rain down on him if he ever bullied anyone and he knows what to do if he gets picked on. Every grade school boy should see the episode of the Andy Grifith show where Opie gets bullied. Andy couln't have handled it any better [;)]

I'm pretty pissed by this whole episode, and I feel stupid for giving the school staff an extended opportunity to solve this with their "anti-bullying" guidelines because I trusted them to better protect my daughter.

Yes, there is always going to be teasing but when it goes beyond that the school really needs to step up to the plate with a no tollerance program, verbaly or physically abuse or harrass another kid..SEE YA!

Sorry to hear about that man. It sucks when you try to help or defend your kids and you're dealing with idiots, especially when it's at school. [V]

I think the school staff will be tested in their "eight6" tolerance level for the next couple of weeks.

What did the school do? I thought anti-bullying programs were supposed to hold the bullies accountable and help teachers recognize it & stop it?

eight6, most of the time when you are dealing with the schools you have to take matters into your own hands. NO ONE has the right to harass your child. NO ONE. When I had this problem a few years ago and the school did nothing, I went straight to the parents and told them it was going to end. And it did. They were actually good about it. (and the father was a NHL player for the NY Islanders at the time, so every one kissed his ass) Mean kids suck. [xx(]

People who don't shut off their damned cell phones in a timely manner on airplanes!!! [:(!]

I had this chick in front of me today who kept yapping even after 3 warnings from the flight attendant. What self-absorbed pre-9/11 rich-bitch world did she come from? Then to top it off, she slams her seat all the way back right at the end of the runway. My water bottle goes right into my knee. Lucky for me, her jacket falls to the floor at my feet...I wipe my shoes on it vigourously then throw it over the seat into her face. Bwaaahahahahah! [}:)]

BTW, I almost forgot all about it as it was gorgeous sunset takeoff from LaGuardia with a perfect view straight down Manhattan...the lit up Empire State Building, Central Park, GW Bridge...what a fooking rush! Then I pop my Pod on and I must have left it on a Goldfrapp playlist...I kid you not that "Fly Me Away" was the first song to come on. It's nice how cool shit allows us to forget these nimrods. [^]

One thing I find to be annoying is when your watching a movie on TV and at the end of the flick they split the screen to advertise what's on next.I would like to see the credits and that sometimes great ending music.

To add to this peeve, the dildos that decide to play traffic cop in the fast lane and intentionally drive slowly, then speed up when you try and pass them.

Umm, that would never happen. [}:)] When it comes to kids picking on my children, I could care less who the hell you are.
Besides, he was a pretty little guy for a hockey player. He was actually the nicest guy and had his kid apologize to my son and he himself apologized to me. Besides, if they gave me any trouble I would get my hubby to meet him at the flagpole after school. [;)]

That's what I thought, and I was assured that this would happen. If it did, it had no effect, other than to have the girls tell my daughter not to be a snitch during their latest bullying session, which included the requisite pushing, shoving, tripping and punching.

I'm quickly learning that Marie. I normally cut to the chase in these matters, but according to those who are supposedly more "academically inclined",(school staff) that amounts to overreaction. So I decided to let the process unfold...a bad mistake I will not be making again.

I feel like shit for telling my daughter to be patient, and for convincing her to let the school handle it.
