"Melt With You" cover for GMC commercial?

Anyone see this? I think it's for their Arcadia SUV. Sung by a female. Nothing stunning or great...just kinda cool to see little bits of the wave in mainstream culture 25 years later.

Wife hate's it. I didn't mind it at first but now I can't stand it. There is another commercial where a woman sings the same way low and slow.

I actually heard Violent Femmes' Blister in the Sun as background music for a Wendy's commmercial on TV the other day. There's a band I never thought would be "mainstream" enough for advertisments....

Is it the cover by Nouvelle Vague? Their version of 'Melt With You' was used in a phone advert in the UK a year or so ago and I must admit I really like it!

Yeah Paulie, I think that was it. Hard to tell though with it being so generic, you know? Interesting covers album though and second mention this week of "Too Drunk to Fuck" on the NWO...

3. In A Manner Of Speaking
4. Guns Of Brixton

I saw that Wendy's commercial. Last night I caught what sounded like a cover of "Ça Plane Pour Moi" as the music bed to another commercial, but I was barely paying attention in time to catch whose commercial it was.

Oh, and I found this. Lyrics are posted with it, so you can hold your nose and sing along.
