What would you say is the song you have ever listened to the MOST ? Think back to when you were 12...or 14...or 16....or anytime you sat around and listened to a song to DEATH. IT may not necessarily be your fave song (although it probably was at the time, right?[;)]), but you sure heard the hell out of it. You knew/ know every word, every note, every nuance. Maybe you even wore out your copy (cassettes come to mind).

Can you truly remember such a song? Doesn't necessarily have to be New Wave.

And if you can't really say for certain what [i]song[/i], what about an [i]ALBUM[/i] ?

[Sigurd]

"Souvenir" by OMD (1981) and "Dancing In The Shadows" by French kiss (1983). I still listen these two songs too much (and Souvenir was the reason why I'm very fond of the early 80s music).

I would wake up in the morning with the tune in my head....I always thought the lyrics were: "...fun, fun, fun of the autobahn". Not realizing it was in German "...Wir fahr'n fahr'n fahr'n auf der Autobahn". Hey, I was 13 ok?

Hey, that's cool. I used to think China Grove was "Shiny Goat", and don't get me going on "Purple mountains majesty . . . amber waves of grey" (I'm amazed that, even as a young child, I never questioned that!). Lets go waaay back to 1974.I played the shit out of Bowie,s Diamond Dogs.I still love the song and the lp.
Golden Earings double live 1977 would be a close second.Just like Vince Taylor...fuckin brilliant.
