Which movies make you c ry

[Stuck In The Eighties]

Ok, I realize that most NWO members are ultra-rugged studs who would only cry if their leg was stuck in a bear trap, but let's see who's man enough to admit that they are occasionally driven to tears by a movie or two.

For me, one that always gets me is, "Where The Red Fern Grows". For those who aren't familiar, it is the story of a boy and his two hunting dogs.

Also, the scene in "Good Will Hunting" where the Matt Damon character finally breaks down is very emotional.

Okay I know I'm being a total girl here (thank God I am) and probably sound a little old ladyish for loving this movie, but on Steel Magnolias when Sally Field's character is driving to pick up her grandson after her daughter has passed on.

Geez.

Of coarse Old Yeller (the book "Where the Red Fern Grows" was very sad)

and yes Sean, I remember every time Michael Landons lip started quivering I'd get all misty. Mr. Landon was never afraid to cry.

And for some reason (I can't remember why) I cried a little while watching "The Story of Us" with Bruce Willis and Michelle Pfiffer. I must have just broken up with a girlfriend or something [;)]

Every Christmas Eve I wrap presents and cry at the end of It's A Wonderful Life when all of Jimmy Stewarts friends show up to give him the money he needs. Also Terms of Endearment when Shirley MacLean is going nuts that Debra Winger needs her shot, then of course when she finally dies. It's good to be a girl at times like that.
