Just finished watching "The Dead Girl". Sad, sad movie but very compelling.

"Bonnie and Clyde" with Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway.

It was really pretty good. It looked like it was made in the 70's but I could be wrong. Kind of had a little bit of weirdness to it during the scenes with Bonnie's Mom. I loved the scenes with Gene Wilder. He had this smirk on his face the whole time which just made me want to laugh instead of focusing on the movie. A little sad how they went at the end though... it left me feeling kind of bad for them..? [?]

Saw "The Orphange" this afternoon at the local gigaplex. Spanish film: nice and creepy with a really good story.

And last night, I caught "Reno 911: Miami" on Skinemax. That was much funnier than I expected.

Watched "The King of California" with Michael Douglas.

Great flick. Probably one of the best movies I've seen in a while. At least in that genre. Michael Douglas was awesome, was glad to see him back in form.

Incredible, it's easily the Cohens best. Which is saying a lot considering Lebowski, Fargo and the rest.

And Javier Bardem is the stuff of nightmares. I got the same feeling watching him as I did when I saw Jack Palance in Shane for the first time as a toddler.

Yes, Great movie. Very creepy in a great way.
I think I still like The Big Lebowski better. but they are two different genres.

Well, we have completely binged on movies this weekend. Just got back from "Juno", which both the Mrs and I loved. I can't remember the last time I went to two movies in the theater on the same day.

We recently saw the Kite Runner. I love a good movie where you don't know any of the actors. It really allows you to get lost in the film and really care for the characters for no other reason than how they're portrayed. I really liked this flick. I was waiting for the inevitable movies involving the Taliban and Eastern life to come out.

Ive been meaning to see that film. I love Guillermo Del Toro's visual style. He really made blended a drama and fantasy film real well in Pan's Labyrinth
