I agree. With all the crap starts out there, people should be happy that there is one with some real talent and is fun to watch.

When I heard that Adam was doing a song from '82 I was thinking he could do a really cool song. Then he does a Tears for Fears song, and I have to say I loved his version of Mad World.

Very different version of Mad World but it was good. No, great, even if it was inferior to the original by a great distance. That doesn't matter as much as the fact he can bring it night after night. Adam might be the most talented singer ever to appear on the show which is tough for Danny because he would have won most years. Nonetheless, they'll both make it in the music industry. Allison is good too and will probably also make it.
I'm sympathetic to the blind guy but he is probably the weakest left and will have to go tonight. Chris annoys me. He needs to go too. As for the recently departed, Megan, I thought she had potential too. She was either excellent or very weak depending on her song chopice. It's a shame because she had a good voice and she was an absolute knockout. That combination could have been pretty unbeatable. Unfortunately, she couldn't consistently perform.

We didn't sell a lot of records, but somehow we left an impression.

Alison was voted off tonight.

Gokey should have been gone instead after butchering Dream On.
Doesn't really matter, Adam will win anyway.

Oh man! My whole family cringed when he yelled out that song!
Allison and Adam ruled the night. Allison got voted out before Chris which sucked. Chris will vanish after a few months. Adam did Zeppelin whole lotta love! Holy crap that was great!

Danny sucked and should have been gone. If by some chance he wins he will be as UN-successful as Taylor Hicks. Everything he sings sounds the same.

Chris should have been gone. And I agree, he will disappear and never be heard from again. The other three will make records. Yes, Danny was awful on Tuesday and, based on that one performance, would have been voted out, but he does have a good voice. While I'll never buy his records because his style doesn't appeal to me, I think he'll make it. He really does have a good voice. Allison has a good chance to make it too.

Adam is the most talented performer they have had on this show ever. He will make it, no doubt.

Never watched it. The type of music they cover is just way too narrow for me.

What did everyone think about last nights show?
I hated it.
Paula picked a terrible song for my man Danny. His second song was okay.
What is with Adam? All he does is scream now. I was hoping he would have just sang his second song slow and with a low voice.
He is really annoying now, too theatrical.

Oh well, we shall see this evening who is going home.

Adam ruined the U2 song. I hated his arrangement and re-working. The kid out on stage a alone with his guitar impesssed me the most. That took the most courage in my book.

Marie and Swampthing, I agree with a lot of your points. Adam's voice is the best on the show in my opinion but every song needs to have that one scream note, a la vintage Deep Purple or like many '80's hair bands. I think he has become too predictable and way too theatrical. Nonetheless, with good coaching, this guy could be a superstar.

And, oh yeah, his rendition of "One" was awful and it was clearly the arrangement that killed it.

In my opinion, Chris has improved the most but he is a big dropoff from Danny and Adam (and Allison, for that matter).

If it were up to me, it would be
3rd Place - Chris
2nd Place - Danny
1st Place - Adam

Not a big fan of this seasons group--have only watched sporadically. I guess I would go with Chris. Adam is too over rated--gotta agree with the scream comments. Kind of like the kid a few years back that did that beat box shit with every song. He sucked too.
