I just got an Ipod today, but I need Itunes 8.0 to use my Ipod, without the program my Ipod is just a waste of space. I have a computer, but NO INTERNET access. My only Internet access is the public library, but all links to Itunes in this library have been blocked! So, I am hoping that someone can download the Itunes 8.0 program for me and email it to me so that I may download it and finally be able to use this Ipod. Please help!

Are you on a PC/Mac? Laptop/Desktop? If you are on a laptop with wireless, go to a location with a hotspot and use their wifi internet access.

Are you on a PC/Mac? Laptop/Desktop? If you are on a laptop with wireless, go to a location with a hotspot and use their wifi internet access.

Play Dead, are there any Internet cafes where you are?
I used to see those free AOL/People PC trial discs all over the place (esp. at Wal-Mart); I wonder if you can get ahold of one of those?
Got a friend who will help you out?
I'm curious as to whether your library has completely blocked apple.com. Can you access apple.com at all? Is all downloading blocked?

The Apple website is accessible from the public library, but access to the downloads just happens to be restricted. Almost all downloading is blocked, including the rapidshare site. I managed to download Itunes 8.0 at the community college across town though. Thanks for the suggestions.

What do you do for ripping cd's etc then? are you manually naming your albums and tracks etc (i.e with no internet access to gracenote etc?)
i imagine it would be very hard to own an ipod and not have regular personal access to the internet!
