I like these John Peel-loving folks and their audience quite a lot. Now their selections for last year's top albums affirms it even more with Joy Formidable and Horrors at 1 and 2. GODDAMN what fine taste they have!

Wow - totally agree, Blir, what a great list. I just got done listening to tits 'n' bits of the There Will Be Fireworks album on amazon - it's $8.99 on mp3 though and I'd rather have a CD if the price difference isn't much. Gonna go shopping tomorrow. What is it with all the great stuff coming out of Scotland these days? Also love The Twilight Sad.
