Triple feature last night:

Observe and Report - not that great

Magic & Bird, a Courtship of Rivals - great documentary about the rivalry between Magic Johnson and Larry Bird

Training Day - Still an intense movie, though this version had a different ending than the one I remember seeing on dvd a few years ago.

Had to take my wife to see "Remember Me" starring the sensitive Twilight vampire whatever his name is. Boring is an understatement.

I liked it OK the first time I saw it, then I was forced to see it again and it was even better the second time around.

2012---absolutely the worst movie I have ever seen in my life. God awful!!!!

On the other hand, watched a flick called "Unknown " that I had never heard of and while not a masterpiece I was kept entertained. It's about 5 guys who wake up inside a sealed warehouse and remember nothing-one's tied up, ones shot and handcuffed to a railing and none of them know who they are or why they are there.

Hot Tub Time Machine - freaking hilarious but they didnt seem to do their research on the movie since they were referencing 21 Jump Street and the Cutting Crew when they traveled to 1986. Crispin Glover was funny throughout the film

Red Cliff part 1 - pretty good so far. Will finish part 2 sometime next week

So do we need to see this? It's a but unusual that there's actually 3 movies I'm eager to see in theaters - Hot Tub Time Machine on Budverge's rec, Date Night just because the ads look hilarious, and possibly this. Or possibly not??

Wifey roped me into An Education with Carey Mulligan. She is insanely charming, but there just wasn't that much to the movie, was there? Yeah, some interesting cultural commentary, but not sure that's enough. Great vehicle for her though.

Saw Runaways last night and loved it! Must see again. Surprisingly well acted by all in the film. One would swear this movie was shot in 1975!!

"Kick-Ass", which, well, kicked ass. Great movie, but not as funny as I thought it would be. Best use of a Joan Jett song in a while (but then, I haven't seen The Runaways).

"Pandorum", which was very good sci-fi/horror. Caught this one on OnDemand.

Saw these recently:

Until The Light Takes Us - a documentary about the Norwegian black metal scene which focused mainly on the early 90's when they were burning down churches and killing each other. It was a little disjointed but there were some funny parts and some beautiful footage of burning churches.

Religulous - it was Ok but watching Bill Maher make fun of religion and the idiots who practice it felt to me the same as how I feel when I watch golf on TV. Sure he's better at it than I am, but it's much more fun to be out there doing it myself.
