These are all great new romantic tunes you mention... I was too young to be clubbing during the heyday, but read about it extensively. Loved the look, the idea of people dressing up outrageously to go out, etc etc

Speaking of Duran....
I just found out that they are coming out with a new album the end of the year, recorded by the original line-up. Unfortunately, I missed the live show last year, but I'm sure they are going to play again with the new album release.

indeed, Duran DID reunite late last year, and played many "small-venue" shows in japan & the U.S. i was lucky enough to see them in Nov. here in Albuquerque, and they were GREAT !! still hot, too. they played nearly all old songs, with a BIG emph

Wow,
I can't believe I missed the show. I talked to a friend of mine from Jr. High and he told me that he went. It was a bummer because he wasn't even that big of a fan of theirs and he went and I didn't, hehe.
