I had that oh so typical long on top, short on sides & back New Wave look for most of the 80's. The top went through various lengths. During some stages it completely covered my shaved sides & back sometimes even down to my shoulders. I sported a "long in

Gosh, the haircolor would be pretty hard to nail down since it changed almost weekly. At one point I had really long purple braids, nose ring, lots of black, black eyeliner, red lipstick...typical.
