"Ric has released 5 solo albums since The Cars broke up and has been been quite busy doing production work for quite a few bands including Bad Religion, Black 47, Hole, and Weezer, among others. He's hardly sitting around collecting royalty checks."

Reunions have been done successfully before without a full roster of original members. I'll miss Ben's voice, but I'd be all for finding someone whose vocals would be similar. I think the Queen/Paul Rodgers combo is pretty intriguing also. Queen and Ba

As long as we're talking about The Cars I might as well mention "Substitution Mass Confusion - A Tribute To The Cars". A portion of the proceeds are being donated to the American Cancer Society in memory of Benjamin Orr.
