A cunt, by its very nature, cannot be anal
I can think of one or two who are.
I knew someone was going to say that. Actually, yeah, I can think of... well, I can think of more than two. My 6 ex girlfriends, for instance.
* Isn't it odd that most of the bands listed totally suck? Maybe bands with lousy names that are good are exceptions to the rule.
Anal Cunt sure sucked. (No pun intended.) Fuzzbox had one decent song. I plead ignorance on Smegma and the Nunz, because to this day, I still have no idea what they sounded like. But they were from Boston, so the odds are on them sucking. About 1 in 15 bands there didn't.

Yes, this is the thread you are most likely to step on some toes. My view is never judge a book by its cover, but then again at one point in time my favourites included acts like:

Skinny Puppy
Severed Heads
Simple Minds

There are no shortage of stupid band names out there.

As far as the Flaming Lips go, in my opinion, they've made some great music. A favourite of mine is their Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots album (the album title certainly just adds to the weirdness factor) but there are some great tunes in there - Do You Realize? is a standout track for me.

Both the Screamin Blue Messiahs and Prefab Sprout had some good singles in their day.

Another band I avoided for quite a while--Lotus Eaters.
