I thought for years that "Salt In My Tears" by Martin Briley was actually a Genesis song. Sounds just like some of the stuff Phil Collins was throwing out in the early 80s.

I always thought that Yazoo, with Alison's killer voice, would have done an AMAZING "The Chauffer" by Duran Duran. Don't get me wrong, that is one of the best DD songs ever, and Simon's vocals are awesome on that one, but could you imagine what Alison would have sounded like ?!?!

I love New Order but it's hard to imagine improving Nowhere Girl.

We didn't sell a lot of records, but somehow we left an impression.

<p align="justify">I heard the remix version first and I thought it was NewOrder, so I went out and bought the NewOrder cassettes. None of them had it, but I became a fan by default ([i]Low Life[/i] is one of the best from the 80s[8D] ). Ten years later, some crappy eMpTyV movie features it and it gets airplay again. So I hear it on the radio and I almost crapped me pants - I pull over on the side of the road and find a pay phone to call the radio station: turns out it was some outfit I never heard of... "B-Movie." Bought [i]Remembrance Day[/i] and a [i]Thumpn New Wave[/i] compilation - and I became a fan by default.

This same situation happened with F.R. David's "Words" and Roxy Music, except that instead of 10 years, it took about 20 years to finally discover[}:)]
