It is true. But what is worse is in that area people will walk right out in the street in front of you but look the opposite way. Like that protects them. It must be like this in Manhattan. They just walk right in front hoping you hit them. This happens to me at least 3 times a day.

Around here, cops do that all the time, I wish I was kidding.
At this one Subway, cops do it every day, they park in the fire lane, directly in front of the store, go get their food, which at lunch hour takes what, 10 minutes or so, and get back in and drive away.
I wish I had like an exact copy of the tickets police write you so I could write them a fake ticket and put it on their windsheild. Course I'd probably get arrested for touching a cop car or something.
