No not absolutely ridiclous, only rather SLIGHTLY ridiculous. Although most nights that we went out dancing I was SLIGHTLY inebriated so you always seemed a pretty good dancer to me! [:D]

Weird Al Yankovich gave a special award to REM's "Stand" video for deciding not to hire professional dancers and just have a bunch of geeks (I believe it was some band members and probably their friends) perform a stupid dance to the song. Definitely some

The "best new wave dance move" award should go to the extremely cute and very topless blonde girl near the end of Duran Duran's "The Chauffeur" video. She has the best NW moves ever! It's on DVD so check it out.

I just saw ....(gulp)Hall and Oats in their adult education video. Hall always tried to bust a new wave move in the videos but in this one oats was like breakdancing and shaking a voodoo doll. True cheesey classic!
