SHARE NEW: Tales Of Topographic 80s Vol. 23 - Hamburg

Postby Rissan » Fri Nov 28, 2025 1:50 am

It is the last Friday of November and the musical journey continues with a visit to Hamburg.

The story behind this Volume. Well at first not planned at all. I had a trip to Milan in mind. But I was not satisfied with the tracklisting.
Since I am scanning almost every song about European cities for a final Volume in the near future to close the European book and move further out into the world,
I stumbled upon Hamburg and it turned out I could fill an hour of music, although the last three tracks sound very experimental.

Give it a listen. A Volume filled with prog, krautrock, hard rock, pop, new wave, synthpop even with a sleight touch of disco, where the instrumental tracks reign supreme.

Be Aware the tracks may vary in loudness.

Please note, this in NO way is intended to take away sales from any of the artists included here
but rather a way to discover or rediscover these timeless masterpieces.
Please support these artists and bands if they should have material available! They deserve all the credit!

Up for one month.

The tracks:

01. Felix De Luxe - Bomben auf Hamburg (4:10)
02. Marty Wilson-Piper - Hamburg (3:49)
03. Hamburger Arroganz - Livin' In Hamburg (4:27)
04. Novalis - Hamburg (ertrinken möchte ich nicht in dir) (4:47)
