Duran Duran seemed to have videos nailed - despite some bizarre turns. "All She Wants" and "Do You Believe in Shame?" are two of my faves.

"Take On Me" has to be the best ever. Duran Duran's were great if a little odd (I think MTV once ran an "Explain The 'New Moon On Monday' Video Contest" where the best explanation won a prize).
For unintentional comedy, you have to see the video by Krisma for "Nothing To Do With The Dog". The Unintentional Comedy Rating is off the charts.

I loved Blondie's Hanging on the Telephone - Deb at her hottest, and she made some awesome crazy faces in it. I also liked Dreaming - the video captured the energy of the song pretty well.
The Motel's Only the Lonely and Suddenly Last Summer - both pretty mysterious - and Martha always looked good when she appeared to be in vauge danger.

I guess Senoria or Echo And the Bunnymen
but I remember they showed a version of Images of Heaven at malibu On Long Island and it was X rated................

BUT the beat has to be THE ANIMAL song By The Europeans!!!! I used to see it all the time on UHF video show here in NY

God, what was I thinking earlier as far as iconic 80s videos...FGTH's Two Tribes has to be up there too with the US/USSR wrestling match!
