How cool is the wife? Old mix...

Postby Frau_Blucher » Sat Jul 16, 2005 6:42 am

We were cleaning out the basement and came upon a mix tape that my wife made herself in the ealry to mid 80s. It's ridiculously mint - I've never seen an old tape in such good condition. But check out this mix. I guess she was pretty cool [:p]

My wife was TOTALLY on with creating playlists.
When I was mixing workout tapes for her she would have great tune suggestions that would flow both sonically and BPM wise.
Still have a bunch of them laying around somewhere. [;)]

Mna, Blir, you're one lucky guy! Hopefully she still digs that stuff just as much today. Or is she into Celine Dion now?

BTW: You should rip that playlist onto a CD-R and present it to the Mrs. Blir.
She deserves it! [:D]

We're surrounded by neighbors who rave about James Taylor concerts at the indian casino. She drove with me 6 hours to go see Gang of Four in Philly!

Blir, that is SUPER COOL tape! You should take 2Nu's suggestion and burn it to CD-R.

I have gotten my husband to appreciate New Wave. But he had NONE before we met. Except for Rio. Oh yeah, and the 1st 4 Police CDs.

My wife's mix tapes would have consisted of Genesis, TKA, and perhaps Michael Jackson. They still would. [:0][xx(] Hold on to Mrs. Blir like you've never held on to anyone or anything before!!!!!!!!!!! [:p]

Took the words right out of mouth. That would make a great CD. I've done the same thing with old mix tapes.

Blir, in recognition of your wifes awesome mix. I'm going to burn a CD with those songs and give it to my girlfriend, giving your wife full credit, of course. I looked through my girlfriends old record collection and gave her an ipod with songs from all the records on it. [:D] Women rule [;)]
