Yes - it's very good. They also do a version of The Cars' Dangerous Type that is great.

Not to be too picky, but I have to place Little Willie John's "Fever" as the definitive (and earliest hit version) of the tune, even though it too was technically a cover (was originally written by seasoned songwriters). Peggy's version is still cute. [;)]
More new wave faves (earliest hit versions in parentheses):
1. "A New England" - Kirsty MacColl (Billy Bragg)
2. "They Don't Know" - Tracey Ullman (see #1) -- wasn't Kirsty 18 when she wrote this?
2. "Shades Of 45" - Red Rockers (Gary O)
3. "Wherever I Lay My Hat" - Paul Young (Marvin Gaye) -- he could be the Johnny Rivers of the 80's by having most of his hits as covers.
Colourfield's cover of "Can't Get Enough Of You Babe" was great until Smashmouth destroyed it forever.
I still think Soft Cell's version of Gloria Jones' "Tainted Love" is one of the most creative, albeit far too overplayed to enjoy, covers.

I like Lush's cover of Wire's "Outdoor Miner". I think Dag Nasty also did a respectable cover of "12XU" (hell, I think every hardcore band covered 12XU).
