Hi, Im new here (fantastic site by the way!!!), great to see i can share my love of Missing Persons and Blondie with others.
Im planning a New Wave party at a bar here in Québec city in september. Any of you have some suggestions of some great-obscure-forgotten classics i should play ??? Im more into Devo and XTC kind of stuff than Spandau Ballet or Tears for Fears [:)] Any help would be appreciated !!

Thanks

Welcome and may I suggest you just refer to the site search engine for 'playlists','favorites', 'songs' and you'll have enough tunes to go for DAYS.

Hope the party‘s gonna be cool....Quebec used to have a great scene back in the eighties, lots of great shows and cool records stores ! The party start at 6 pm with a showing of Urgh-A music War, then some Devo stuff from the 70‘s on french Tv and a "Best Of" US Festival (Missing Persons, Oingo Boingo..). At 10 i wanna have this band Echo Kitty (Synth Pop.....really great stuff....www.echokitty.com.....go listen!)...snd then MUSIC and dance til 3am ! Great !
