Love "Never Say Never" by Romeo Void, I was surprised when I read the lyrics to that song. Not what I expected.
Someone also mentioned The Ocean Blue. I really liked that band and they just seemed to fall off the face of the earth.
Not New Wave, but "Waiting On a Friend" by the Rolling Stones and "Urgent" by Foreigner both have some amazing "squawking saxophone brilliance."

Actually, the horn playing in "Overkill" is an oboe, not a saxophone. Greg Ham played several different types of horns, as well as the keyboards. His sax can be heard on "Who Can it Be Now?" and "Settle Down, My Boy", among others.[:)]

First--have to agree..All Mixed Up is my favorite song of all time!!
Livin On Livin as mentioned by Blir is also one of the best. On top of that Ive always loved Sylvain Sylvain's "Tonight"-yeah, not new wave but who cares? and local favorites The Schemers0"I Want Some Fun"
