Band Aid Documentary

Postby Sean » Wed Dec 01, 2004 9:59 am

Has anyone else seen the Band Aid documentary with Midge Ure as the narrator? I just saw it last night for the last time and it was so cool. It was so interesting to hear who liked who, who hated who, the lengths Bob Geldof had to go to so all the performers would show up, the reasons for picking Midge Ure as a partner, the overall reason why Band Aid was formed. Definitely one of the most awesome things I ever watched.

Let me see what I can do for you Kimiii. I'm in the US but I have a copy of the show on DVD. I stayed up the other night until 3AM in the morning watching this. Just couldn't turn it off. Midge Ure is so cool. He's a true professional and Bob Geldof

It was shown in the US. My friend from Holland sent this to me. I'm not sure how he got his copy. I'm going to try to make a copy for you. No guarantees as of now but I'll serious try. The restriction I have is time cause I don't go home too often.

No problem Kimiii. I'm trying to do a dvd copy for you. If I have problems, then I'll just record it on normal VHS.

Back in the day, I had gotten a gift for a friend of mine: a video which was a making of the Band Aid song. The video was only 20 minutes long, and was commercially available, though I'm sure it's long gone now. The moments I remember most from it were

No need to worry anymore gang,as the Band Aid story will be coming out onto DVD on the 21st of this month, during the week of Christmas. So all your wishes will be coming true on that week.I just hope that the majority of the artists on the DVD are going to

I saw it listed on Barnes And Noble's website. It is only 30 minutes, but they are charging way too much for the DVD when it comes out on the 21st.It is going for $25.98.Maybe Best Buy will have it for cheaper. Will go look and let you all know.

Okay I found a copy that anyone who wants a copy of the DVD can buy it over at Circuit City. They have it so that you can preorder a copy, and it's cheaper than what Barnes And Noble wants for it.On their site you can buy it for $19.99.

Go here and then

I wonder if this is the BBC Documentary or the original video tape that came out in the 80's? I would probably purchase either one but I think it would be cooler if it's that BBC Documentary that I saw.

Kimiii, I haven't forgotten about you. I just h

Ok Kimiiii,

I didn't forget you. I made the dvd for you with the Band Aid Documentary on it. It is in mp3 format so I hope you have a dvd player that plays mp3's. If you don't they are dirt cheap at most electronic stores (around $30-$40, maybe even
