The Revamped All Music Guide

Has anyone looked at the revamped All Music Guide website? It looks good but I find it too slow to move around in. Has anyone else experienced this? I wonder if the webmaster will fix this problem?

Ditto! And even after you log on, if you go to the "songs" area for a particular artist it will ask you to log in and then boot you out to the home page. It's very hard to use.

Grrr.[V] The internet is slow enough as it is. Sure the old AMG wasn't trendy, but it gave you info you needed without the wait time.

I haven't be logged off in the song sections. I like the fact you can preview songs. Too bad they're only 15 second so

I hear you loud and clear! Since I use the AMG almost daily, I was dismayed to discover how slow it was. I think they needed to beta test that one a bit more. I have no problem signing up for a free account, but if it's gonna take over a minute to get inf

I too experience a major slow response, thought it was my network at work being slow, I never could see songs, just artists. Maybe they will tweek it after they receive feedback; after all, the world relies on this site!! Well, I do anyway.

Allmusic guide does not work with Mac IE 5.0 so I guess I'm out of luck from now on. I've also been using it on a regular basis to verify all the information on groups, album release dates, etc...

Revisted AMG...thankfully much improved. I like the sortable search results, especially by Date for example to help find the earliest release. Hitting Page Back also doesn't take you back to an erroneous page like it often did in the past. Give it another

Here's another thread with a notice from AMG admitting the problems:

I rely on AMG as well. It'll take some getting used to, but I think in time I'll come to like this new format. I already love the sound clips option! :)
