Do I have to?

Seriously, I never liked either of them. Just pop dreck, IMO.

Well, what most people don't realize is that Debbie Gibson, yes, THE Debbie Gibson -- THAT Debbie Gibson, produced one of Redd Kross's best albums (the name escapes me at the moment, but it's the one with Bubblegum Factory, and Annie's Gone).

So, Debbi

I agree with Sean...

Debbie had more musical talent. She actually wrote and performed many of her own songs, including her hits.
Tiffany was just pleasing to the eye. No talent, just looks.

If I have to pick one, I'll go with Debbie.

Debbie Gibson. I admit it, I liked her stuff, and have some of her CD's. There, I admitted it. But I also own Fear and the Dead Kennedys, so it balances out.

Now.....Debbie Gibson on a personal level, man she was so fine, and still is.

Oh I don't even think this a fair contest. It's Debbie (DEBORAH...damn you!) all the way. Tiffany was a flash in the pan but Debbie wound up on broadway. Had more hits, etc.

...plus Debbie had her own "Electric Youth" perfume. Did Tiffany have one too?

Tiffany teamed up with Front Line Assembly to do a cover of U2's "New Years Day" - bizarre!
