I posted earlier somewhere that rap was originaly an acronym for (R)hythm (A)capella
(P)honetics and came from the 50's doo-wop standin around a trash can aflame and singing harmonies. The low riding pants with the underwear sticking out is thug fashion

"Stringbean" from Hee-Haw was the originator of the low-riding pants. It seems that rap artists are closet Hee-Haw fans.
