I wonder, if, in this time of electronic music, flashy music shows, and newfangled instruments --
I wonder if the genius inherent in the work of Beethoven and Chopin is still important. That is, if it is still able to be appreciated.

It's one of those things that you have to be in a mood for and want to hear.

Classical music is important today because it remains as a benchmark to which people may aspire, so that they can hear the brilliance to which humans may reach.

My favorite classical music is when the needle skips on the record during Ravel's Bolero and Bo says "it's stuck" and Dudley thinks [i]he's [/i] stuck! Remember that?! No?! O.K. Forget it.
