I live in Murray, a suburb about 10 miles south of Salt Lake City. I paid about $175K for my house in 1998. It's worth about $195K now. 2400 square feet, 4 bedrooms, 2 car garage on 1/5 of an acre. I'd hate to try to live in a big coastal US city on m

Housing cost are soooooo high here in California. I make good money, but, had to take a second job to get enough for a big down payment on a decent one. 3 bedroom 1800 sq feet in a good neighborhood are between 300,000 and 450,000. Totally insane. I hear

Paula, I always thought houses in Maine would be real expensive! Maine is so popular for tourists.

Good lord....we're more in line with what kimiiii posted...ours is $1000/ yr. It was $950 3 years ago. Typical for homes in the city....it's much lower outside the city.
