SHARE NEW!: Tales Of Topographic 80s Vol. 7 Moscow

Postby Rissan » Thu Jul 25, 2024 11:12 pm

It's the last Friday of July and in uncertain times and times of war Tales Of Topographic 80s visits Moscow.

Nowadays speaking about Moscow means speaking of the "enemy", cybercrime, espionage, hacking, and war against Ukrain.
But was it so much different during the eighties. To be honest no. Certainly the early eighties were very much dominated by the cold war and during the whole decade Rusland fought it's war in Afghanistan. This war ended in February 1989.
And just like the American and NATO discovered between 2001 and 2021, the Taliban turned out to be an unbeatable enemy.

And even then artists and bands wrote songs about Moscow, so here is a volume filled with tracks about this city.

Please note, this in NO way is intended to take away sales from any of the artists included here but rather a way
to discover or rediscover these timeless masterpieces.
Please support these bands if they should have material available! They deserve all the credit!
Up for one month.

Thanks Rissan!

This one doesn't have the name 'Moscow' in it, but I've been looking for the artist of this song since forever... Maybe someone could help?

wow!!!
none of the previous 6 cities covered with thematic songs were granted with such a merciless description as poor Moscow, a beautiful and comfortable city by itself.
Not even Berlin, from where World wars I and II were launched that killed up to 100 mln people, HQ to Adolf Hitler and his gang, the most hated people in the world up to now, the capital of German nazism, the ideology of hatred to all non-blondes with the wrong skull form and hair color.
Not even Rome, the capital of Italian fascism, the source of nazism.

Huge applause !!!!!

The compilation is nice though, thanks.
