Has anyone seen the tracklist to the new Telex album. It is set to be released in Feb 2006, but I don't know if it has a U.S. distributor. The first single is "On the Road Again." I can't seem to find a cd anywhere. If anyone knows anything more please fill me in. Thanks

I just picked up the first remix cd for "On the road again" (Not the redneck song) just 4 different remix versions of the same song.We can only hope the rest is as good.
" Telex are back with this brand new 12", the first new material from the group since 1985. The hypnotic 'On The Road Again' (a 60s anthem from Canned Heat) has typical Telexian characters: the concision, the humour, the apparent musical simplicity, the nutty vocals, the groove of course, Telex never forgets the dancefloor. And some nice remixes from Marco Passarani, Playgroup and Jo Bogaert!"

Picked it up last night. As a Telex release it's fantastic, still in the vein of their original digital pop sound. The weakest cut is the title cut "How do you dance?". The strongets is the sparks cover #1 Song in heaven. All done with minimal monotone vocals. It's nice to hear all of the digital pops and clicks they use as percusives as they always had. I wasn't too excited after buying the "On the road again" club mixes as it was kinf of disapointing with the over production but the new "How do you dance?" CD is well worth picking up even if it clocks in around 40mins.of sound and another 5 mins or so of a vid of on the road again.

I picked this up last month when I was in Tokyo - it's very good. Almost every store I went into there had it on display and on a listening post, so I was able to check it out beforehand. I also picked up a best-of CD from Russia via GEMM recently.
