Does anyone know where I may find a copy of the 'scratch' mix of this song by ABC? Maybe even on CD? The scratch mix is the one which was released months prior to the version which had the stupid electric guitars in the middle part--which became so popular in the US.

I've got the UK remix of the song-it was indeed released (along with the remixes for "Be Near Me" and "Vanity Kills" before the US release of the album. If IWMMTV's version isn't what you are looking for, I'll send you any or all of the above.

IWantMyMTV,

Thanks for sending that. Yes, it did work. Unfortunately, I was looking for the 7" version--which I neglected to specify. My apologies. Thanks again!

NuWaveRx,

If you have a copy of the song, would you mind sending it my way? I'd be so appreciative.

Thanks, you folks, for being so thoughtful!

Bummer Dude.

I probably have it on vinyl, but I haven't gotten to the transfer stage yet.

I have the 7" vinyl, but it's all popcorn-y sounding. I also have no way to transer vinyl to computer files, otherwise I wouldn't trouble you folks. You're very kind for sending those songs my way, though. Thanks again!

You did send something to me, but it came across as an HTML file. Perhaps my computer is being silly?

Oops, didn't read the thread carefully and missed that it was the 7" version you wanted. Anyways, here's two 12" mixes for anyone else [:)].

http://s31.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2KHK ... F2AP1RSOS6

13 How to be a Zillionaire bond street mix
from "How to be a Zillionaire" [1985 Phonogram Ltd; DE]

04 How to be a Zillionaire wall street mix
from "the Remix Collection" [1993 Connoisseur Collection; UK]
(they got the mix name/info wrong ... above is actual)

- both ripped using EAC/encoded with LAME 3.97b2 -V 2 --vbr-new

MAS,

Yeah, I read your post a while back and made a mental note...my daughter was born in the meantime and I was out of action for awhile.

I have the 1984 12"

Side A is How to be a Zillionaire Wall Street Mix
Side B is How to be a Millionaire and How to be a Millionaire Acapella

I didn't post the acapella version as it would make even the most die hard ABC fan cringe, I'm sure!!!

Hey, IWANTMYMTV...seems as if you may be a ABC savant...any chance you have the mp3 of 'Judy's Jewels'?
