There's two 12" mixes I am dying to have on CD:

Altered Images - "Don't Talk To Me About Love"
Portrait 12" #03923/Matrix # XSS 170956/Run time: 6:10

ABC - "The Look Of Love" (USA Remix - Dub Version)
Mercury 402/Matrix #2-56988/Run time: 7:37

There's also a great b-side by Real Life called "Like A Gun" (from the "Send Me An Angel" 12"), but since it's not extended or anything, it wouldn't qualify...however, it is "rare"!

As good of choice "Don't Talk To Me About Love" is, the 12" extended version is already featured on an 80's 12" compilation titled - 12"/80's/2 it's a 3 CD collection that features a lot of great hard to find 12" versions, also the extended version was featured on the 2005 reissue of Bite, Altered Images third and final release as a bonus cut

The Altered Images track would be enough for me to want it, considering it is one of the rare songs/versions that hasn't been put to CD yet. That being because the U.S. 12" version was a completely different mix to the UK 12" version.

Thanks guys. Alex where are you buddy? The Altered Images track that I would love to have and I think is still missing is the extended versions of "See Those Eyes". Also the US album version of "Another Lost Look" is much better than the UK version. I wish they would have stuck that on the "Bite" release instead of the UK version.

Justin, I tried to call you on your phone but cannot reach you. Did you change numbers?

Another Lost Look is the same on the original UK and US album. If you're referring to the UK Bite CD reissue, that may be the problem. They screwed up and added the "Live" version of Another Lost Look on the CD instead of the original album version. This "Live" version was originally the B side to the Love To Stay single. There is a Japanese issue of Bite on CD that has the album proper, though it only has the original 8 songs. I have it and play that one far more than the botched UK CD.

Rubellan is right - this particular mix from the US 12" has never been released on CD. It's more of a "complete song" with lots of extra guitar, as opposed to a "remix."

Polyphonic Size - "Mother's Little Helper" is on the Belgian "New Wave Club Class-X 1" CD compilation, as well as the harder to find "The Prime Story 1981-1991" Polyphonic Size compilation.
