Retro:Active6 : Rare & Remixed

[Sean]

If I remember correctly, that Hot Tracks version of "Love My Way" is pretty awesome. Since the Furs never really made an extended version for this song, that would great to have. "Victory of Love" by Alphaville? Was there a long version or dj remix to that?

[skinnytie]

I have only one request. Okay, maybe three. [:D]

"The Right Man" by the Units
"Wolfman Tap" by Electric Guitars
"Funky Zoo" by Brian Brain

Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease!

SSQ - Synthecide (Extended Mix)

<br>Hey Alex,

Man, I would love Belouis Some's "Animal Magic". I first heard/saw this in a club in the late 80's on a video screen and was hooked ever since! It was the special video remix and was AWESOME!!!! Please, if you can, unearth this classic.

And, please, the 12-inch version of Ministry's "I Wanted To Tell Her". I hope Al isn't holding this release up. I know, I know, he hates his beginnings, but a lot of us can't help but love his vintage songs. This would be indeed a rare find to end up on the Retro: Active series. Whatever it takes, please, please do what you can!!!

Most sincerely,

Jeffrey

COLOUR CODE - DANCE WITH THE TIMES (BLUE MIX)

We have GOT to get this one on CD, it's an all time classic, fitting in perfectly with the RA series.

Please, please, please (Alex) let me get what I want!!!

Guys,

I really like the suggestion of Noel being on Retro: Active. Especially his "Out Of Time" 12-inch version. I know he gets primarily labeled as a Latin Hip Hop artist, but this had such an alternative vibe, sort of like the Information Society tracks "Walking Away" and "What's On Your Mind". Very high quality production and mix on this single. We can thank Ish for that. He was part of Foxy in the 70's and OXO in the 80's. And speaking of him, I would love his version of "It Ain't Necessarily So" the 12-inch mix. This record has him singing with Terry Nunn from Berlin. It's also produced by my favorite record producer of all time, John Robie!!!! That Terry can sing!!!! Would love to hear what George Gershwin might have thought hearing this electro remake!!!!
