Love that "Sticky Music"![:I]
Actually I believe it is actually next week.

On a semi-related note, I was told by a knowledgable person in Japan that the Miharu Koshi early albums (Tutu, etc) will be re-released in about 6 months.

(Straining brain to remember:) Weren't they proteges of David Sylvian? I saw them at Bumbershoot (Seattle Labor Day arts festival) in 1984.

I know that Sylvian sings on some of their songs. They are considered part of the "YMO Family", hence my reference above to Miharu Koshi.

Sylvian contributed lyrics (and backing vocals?) to the album Immigrants, and he was supposed to be duetting with Sandii on the track 'Living on the frontline', but I always thought he sounded like a woman (Kate Bush, in fact) on that - if it was indeed him singing.

Pity there's no bonus material on any of the reissues

Supposedly, these are in the mini-LP sleeves which is all the rage in Japan.

Ooh ooh oooooooh sticky music.

Note to Sandii: Disco died in 1980. Didn't you see all those "Disco sucks" bumper stickers?

Now Hawaiian disco -- that's all the rage. I can smell Sandii's next multiplatinum mega hit now. "Ooh ooh ooooooh luau music!"

Will the re-issue be the original version or the Makoto Kubota remixed version?
