I figured I would add my thoughts in this particular forum...

I have the entire "Just Can't Get Enough - New Wave Hits of the 80s" collection from Rhino Records and it is terrific. What a great variety. The best thing about it is that there are very few repeat artists in the collection. 15 volumes with 16 songs on each.

Anyone else have this or any of the volumes in this compilation? Any suggestions as to what other compilations available?

I think there are a couple of older threads with favorite compilation lists. If you like "Just Can't Get Enough", I would recommend getting your hands on the "Richard Blade's Flashback Favorites" series. Issued on the Oglio records label, it's out of print but their website was selling some last time I checked. The series has a some nice extended mixes, and more or less avoids the most overplayed songs from other comps.

I have both JCGE and Richard Blade - there is a bit of overlap on the two sets, both are a good starting point for 80's collections - both have been out for quite a while at this point (around 10 years at least?)
