Welcome to the new forum!
If you are a previously registered user, you must do the following:

1) Click on 'I forgot my password' at the login prompt
2) Enter your username and email you registered with and submit
3) You will receive an email with an activation link. Please click it and then log in using the random password provided
4) Go to your User Control Panel and click on the Profile tab
5) Click on 'Edit Account Settings' and enter your new password twice followed by the random password provided earlier. Click Submit.
6) That's it...you're back in! You may have to log in again with your new password.

Is Quebec that bad? You hear all the rumors and I have had a run in with French Canadians but I trust a canadians view! Please tell.

English, Russian, Spanish, a smattering of Japanese.

Well my Russian is kinda shoddy...
I taught it to myself in high school, havent practiced it in a while. I worked with an exchange student during the latter years of learning it. She taught me more

eight6 is right on the money. I an American, and lived in Quebec City for a time. There really is a snobbish exclusivity with the Quebequois compared with the rest of Canada. Many non-Quebec Canadians really hoped that the Separatists got their way and

Besides English, I speak a semi-fluent amount of French, took 4 years of Latin and 2 semesters of Japanese. Most of the Japanese is long gone from my head. I understand enough Spanish to get by, but I don't really speak it.

I was born in Surinam, then known as Dutch Guiana so being a Dutch colony, I grew up in a Dutch speaking household. My parents came to New York when I was only 10 months old so culturally I'm more American hence my better command of the English language [

Dutch is a cool language. I speak German, which is quite similar, so ecven though I do not know/speak Dutch, I can recognize an amazing amount of words when I am travelling in the Netherlands. But I must say that Dutch is trippy freakin' cool when you are

When I was in Amsterdam I kept seeing signs with the words "BEWARE OF ZAKENROLLERS"! I thought WOW what a cool name for a band. I realized later that the word Zakenrollers meant pickpockets.

Ha, ha, yeah, Dutch does have more than it's share of funny sounding words in it's lexicon! When my brother and I were young, we would just spend hours laughing at funny soundng words in Dutch. Our favorite must have been "bus halte" which means "bus stop
