Anyone see the movie Garden State

I just finished watching this movie and I am really depressed. The first hour drained me of all my energy. Did anyone else feel this way?

Last week, I rented "Garden State." It was not as good as I thought it would be. Kind of a downer. I also rented "Badassss" and it was much better! I would have been very depressed if "Garden State" had been the only movie I rented.

The only thing that I can find at all redeeming about this movie is the soundtrack. Not bad to listen. I was disappointed too.
I have never heard of badasses. Is it funny, sad, funny and sad? Who's in it? Is it worth buying or renting?

I guess I am the minority here, I really enjoyed "Garden State". I thought it was funny and highly orignal. To each their own I suppose... [;)]

Didn't enjoy this movie nearly as much as I'd hoped I would. Good soundtrack, but it bugged me that the film was clearly flimed nowhere near New Jersey. Not one Jersey accent in the film. It bugged me as much as movies or tv shows where they show peopl
