i'm feeling this. i really hope someone good produced. when devo produces their own stuff... er... not so much.
i LOVED what the teddybears did with "watch us work it"- hearing their mix and devo's mix really shows why they need a producer. if teddybears did the production, or if someone like lcd soundsystem (and their gazillion other production names) did it, i would be thrilled. oh! like whomever did the killers last album would be great. or b-52's last album. someone who can draw out the rock aspect too- i want another "duty now" or "q:a" sound, NOT "total devo."

As a huge Devo fan who was very underwhelmed by "Watch Us Work It," I'd love to check out this Teddybears remix. A Google search didn't turn anything up. Can anyone help?

the teddybears mix was the one you heard. the single (with the "super thing" drums).
i loved it, sounded like devo, but sounded new and fresh. they need that.

Hmmm. In that case, is there a place I can listen to Devo's mix?

Wow, it's been over 30 years and these guys are still cranking out music. I still love their early stuff, Come Back Jonee, Mongoloid, Gates Of Steel, Mr. B's Ballroom, Planet Earth.
